As a young Jesthyri, Sen spent much of his time selling his sword for the highest bidder, often placed as the tip of an attacking force or, conversely, as the strongest point of a defensive vanguard. Once young and proud, it was rumored by the few who had known him that he had amassed an almost incomprehensible wealth of gold, platinum, gem, and jewel before he had crossed over to the wrong side of thirty years old. The exact amounts are often debated-- some insist that it is only rumor and that Sen is, in fact, a pauper; others estimate his wealth to rival that of the wealthy hedge lords in some of the more prosperous lands. However, Sen had never made mention of it, whether it is due to modesty or security, that usually depends on whom is telling the story.
There is one thing that everyone who has spent a considerable time around the initially quiet Jesthyri will agree upon: Sen is a story-teller. In fact, had Sen been gifted with any musical talent-- of which, to be clear, he has none aside from an occasional folk song here and there-- he perhaps would have become a bard.
Sen is decent at forging weapons and armor, and can do high-quality repairs. However, he has dedicated his training specifically on crafting the embellishments on metal works, from royal armors, weapons, and even jewelry. It is in this trade that he has garnered the greatest renown, and betraying his hulking frame, his dexterity and delicate artistry is rivaled by few.
Alright everyone, after a much longer delay that I had planned for, my next post is up. Thank you all again for your patience.
If there are any details that I have overlooked or missed, please let me know.
bleu , I was thinking for your next post we might do something together. I'll DM you at a more reasonable hour.
Admin Omega ,wicked , and chaoticanwriter when you are ready to do your replies, let me know and we can collaborate on those as well. Orca, since Risur is following along with Rio, it makes sense to me if you want to include her with that interaction.
Unless Endgame tells me otherwise, I think we can consider Day's interaction with Rin largely concluded, and ready to move into the following morning.
Lastly, we have a new writer joining us! I just wanted to say welcome to crimsongekitou . I'm very excited that you've decided to add your talents to our own.
