Red’s. A secret to most citizens of Citadel City, is a high end bar and lounge owned by the infamous leader of the Carmesi Cartel and currently managed by Risur, his right hand woman. The password changes nightly, but if you know it, you can enter a world of exquisite music, exotic drinks, engaging debates, and lose some money in its gambling halls. Come on in, forget your worries, and have a good time.
Red’s is a tavern like RP, meaning it’s meant to open to everyone at any time, be low stress, a place for your character to interact with other faction world members while waiting for an RP post to go up.
Please read the rules before posting.
Red’s is located in the fabric district of Citadel city in a hidden warehouse. That means that by day lots of vendors selling fabrics, tools, food, and all other manner of things are out and about, but at night, when everything is closed, Red’s really comes alive. So when coming in to Red’s don’t fly down, teleport outside its doors, or come riding in a mount. Staying a secret is the top priority.
The main area of Red’s is the bar, a lounge where the house band plays, and a seating area for those not wanting to sit at the bar or lounge. There is a second, more private area known as the gambling hall for VIP members of Red’s.
Rules: Read all the rules, the setting, and cast posts so you don’t walk in blind and expect people to hold your hand in the Rp.
Risur manages Red’s, my character, the titular Red owns the place and will make appearances from time to time, but feel free to make use of the NPC cast, within reason.
This is a casual RP setting, so no mandatory post length or the need to enter a character sheet.
This being an open, casual RP means that if you are inactive for too long, the story will continue, one could assume you left to take care of something but you are always free to come back.
If you want your character to already have a history with Red’s. Feel free to ask so we can set that up.
Red’s is well kept and run. While the city might be a bit rough considering surviving in the apocalypse is not easy, Red’s has a lot of benefactors who pay to ensure the quality of life there always remains high. The floors are wooden and well maintained.
The bar is well stocked with exotic drinks and some home made hooch.
The staff is always well dressed and clean.
The band stage is well maintained and elevated.
Lots of fancy drapes and fabric adorn Red’s, giving it a slight Morrocan feel.
The walls are exposed brick walls but that only adds to the vibe.
There are stools at the bar, tables at the lounge, and a seating area between the two.
Amelie: young, fun and some would even call her spunky and she didn’t mind, she was who she was; authentic and didn't question herself. The head bartender of Red’s.
Cleo: The knowledgeable, elitist, and snarky waiter for Red’s bar. Clea is a master of fine wines and spirits, and will judge you harshly dispensing on what you order.
The house band: Chain smokers, free thinkers, and the most talented musicians in all of Citadel city, or that’s what they would have you believe.
