Every "Once Upon A Time" has a happy ending -- until it doesn't. Taking place in a fantasy setting embedded with modern elements, A Grimm Fairytale puts unusual and dark twists on tales you only thought you knew before.
>> Characters can be based on fairytale stories. This is not a requirement, but it is encouraged. Some examples include but are not limited to: Goldilocks, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel.... >> If you take a fairytale include it into your characters sheet so people don't double up on the same one. The character does not have to be publicly known In Character as that fairytale, but Out of Character we need to know. >> Some cities are more developed than others, bringing them to more modern standpoints. Heavily populated and developed cities have working electricity, powder guns, science/alchemy inventions, and other appropriate elements. >> Less dense and rural communities in the world are more traditionally fantasy. Mud/clay/wooden huts, swords instead of guns, lanterns. >> The world is filled with fantastical creatures ranging from dragons to sprites to orcs and werewolves. Get creative and have fun with it. >> There is a long, over-arching plot all characters will find themselves entangled in as time goes on. My posts, as the RP director, will either hint at plot points within them or will directly include an additional, separate, and narrated response to others' recent posts in order to push you and your characters in the right direction as well as have something to respond to. This will not happen in every post. >> Mature themes will be used throughout the roleplay such as erotica, drug use, violence, and other darker themes. 18+ only.
Let me know below. I will post the character sheet thread if enough people are interested.
